BOOK OF THIEVES
Volume Two in the Chronicles of Tiralainn
The Shadow Stone, an ancient and indomitable talisman has
been discovered, and its dark sentience is awakening,
searching for a chosen soul to bear it. Throughout history,

natural element: earth, air, fire or water. These forces once
helped to create the world, and  through the Shadow Stone,
legends say they will be used to destroy  it. Kaevir Macleod,
son of a disenfranchised nobleman and frequent guest of
many a fine county jail, is an unlikely choice to be the

BOOK OF DRAGONS (Vol. 3 of 5)

Rhyden has faced many challenges and enemies in his life. In
the third installment of this epic adventure, he faces what could
well be his greatest yet -- the vengeful and powerful spirit of a
long-dead queen, Mongoljin Burilgitu. She has an appetite for
souls and is bent on preventing Temuchin Arightei from
claiming the dragons’ lair -- and will destroy anyone who gets
in her way, including Rhyden.

Meanwhile, Aedhir learns the terrible truth about the Torachan
Empire’s interest in the Enghan -- and that when the Empire
has conquered these beleaguered tribes, they will come next for
his own homeland of Tiralainn. When imperial troops abduct
Aedhir’s son and daughter, as well as the young heir to the
Enghan throne, Aedhir takes his place among the Enghan army
ranks, riding headlong to their rescue, and to brutal, bloody
war. Click

The Chronicles of Tiralainn Series
BOOK OF DRAGONS (Vol. 4 of 5)

Each treacherous step leads young Temuchin Arightei closer to
his destiny -- and the dragons. When a tragic betrayal leaves
the Oirat’s map to the lair lost forever, only Rhyden Fabhcun
can help them continue in their quest. But to discover the
secrets of the dragons, Rhyden must risk sacrificing his life --
and his very soul.

Meanwhile, Aedhir Fainne finds himself caught between a
battle ax and the grave when he stands accused of murder
among the Enghan. It’s up to his new-found ally, Eirik Gerpir,
to save him -- but will Eirik be willing to assume the mantle of
leadership over his people he has so long shunned in order to
prove his friend’s innocence?

And miles away in the imperial city of Kharhorin, Lieutenant
Pryce Finamur continues his desperate ruse to keep the young
Enghan heir, Einar Eirikson, safe. As his plan begins to
crumble and his true identity is suspected, can he protect Einar
-- and Aedhir’s daughter, Wen -- from the city’s sadistic and

BOOK OF DRAGONS (Vol. 5 of 5)

The adventure concludes in this, the last installment in the Book
of Dragons
saga. The long journey is almost over for Rhyden
Fabhcun and the Oirat. They've made it to the ancient,
underground city of Heese, but so have their mortal enemies,
the Khahl. The ruthless spirit-queen Mongoljin has grown more
powerful than even the Oirat's greatest ally, Trejaeran Muirel,
and in the end, it will be up to Rhyden to face her in a desperate
final stand. And if Rhyden fails, he'll not only lose everyone and
everything that has grown dear to him -- but also face
banishment in a nightmarish realm of eternal darkness.

Meanwhile, Aedhir Fainne finds himself on the eve of battle,
joining the ranks of the Enghan army against the indomitable
might of the Torachan empire. Will a final bargain with their
enemies insure the safe return of the young Enghan heir, and
Aedhir's own children, or will Aedhir risk everything --
including war -- to save those he loves?
And in the imperial stronghold of Kharhorin, rumor of political upheaval shakes the city to its very
foundation and imperial consul Aulus Tertius spares no expense -- or brutal effort -- to insure that his
holdings remain in his sadistic possession --especially Aedhir's daughter, Aelwen.

Friends will be lost, innocence shattered, blood shed and worlds forever changed in a race against time
to see who will reach the dragons' lair first-and who will survive long enough to lay claim to the dragons.

The Chronicles of Tiralainn are my first published books, my re-introduction to the world of writing
novel-length fiction after a nearly 10 year hiatus. "Book of Days," the first in the series, was written in
2002 after the death of my uncle Pete, in whose memory the book is dedicated. He loved epic
sword-and-sorcery fantasy tales, and I wrote "Book of Days" because I hope he would have enjoyed it.
"Book of Days" went on to be one of the launch titles for DDP's Dragon Tooth Fantasy imprint, was
named one of the Top Ten Science-Fiction Fantasy Novels of 2005 in the annual Preditors & Editors
online readers poll and was a Finalist in the 2005 Dream Realm Awards for excellence in electronically
published speculative fiction.

The series will always be near and dear to my heart, not only because I wrote it for Pete, but because it
chronicles my maturation as a writer over these past years. I've written my entire life, ever since
childhood, but it wasn't until I started work on "Book of Days" that I seriously devoted myself to
improving my craft, honing my skills and building a career for myself as a fiction author. I think you
can see that evidenced in the evolution of the characters and storylines of the Tiralainn books. Practice
makes perfect, or so they say, and Tiralainn was a great world on which to cut my writing teeth.
BOOK OF SHADOWS
A Tale from the Chronicles of Tiralainn
Twenty years pass between the events in Book of Days and
its sequels,
Book of Thieves and Book of Dragons, but that
doesn't mean everything was peaceful in Tiralainn in the
meanwhile. In the first part of this novella, Rhyden Fabhcun
is on an urgent mission: Gather together allies to the King
and Queen and bring them to the royal city to help stop a
brewing revolution. And in the second part, Iasal Gabhlan is
one of the greatest Elfin warriors who has ever lived. Will
his love as a father be strong enough to defy even destiny
itself to protect his daughter?
